Our Assisted Living Staff
The staff for Winter Valley's Assisted Living program are employees of MRE. All of the personal care attendants are certified and are experienced in caring for the elderly.

Paying for Assisted Living
People choosing to live at Winter Valley's Assisted Living program will make payments to MRE (a non-profit management company and service provider) for the services described below. The fee for this program is separate and apart from the rent paid to Winter Valley. Fees are adjusted annually by the MRE Board of Directors. Additional services can be arranged on an a la carte basis as needed.

Assisted Living at Winter Valley is affordable. A unique program, which combines rent and services, results in fees below those charged for comparable Assisted Living facilities.

The Winter Valley Property Manager will be happy to discuss your specific needs.

• Meals: Two meals a day are included in the monthly fee. Meals are served in a comfortable dining room. Escort service to and from meals is available.
  
  
• Personal Care: As part of the monthly fee, services for up to one hour per day can include daily assistance with bathing and/or dressing, along with assistance and reminders for taking prescription medicines.
  
  
• Social Activities: Assisted Living residents may participate in a full array of activities and special events, many at no extra charge.
  
  
• Housekeeping and Laundry: Housekeeping and laundry service can be provided beyond the hour per day of personal care. This is offered on an a la carte basis.
  
  
• Transportation: Transportation can be arranged for appointments, errands, or church on a fee for service basis.
